I have been married to my husband Matt for 16 years. We have two amazing teenage daughters and a house full of pets with 3 dogs and 2 cats. Between work and family I am always on the go!!
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, right outside of Philadelphia and relocated with my family to FL in 2016. It was a huge change, risk, and adventure for us! We love Florida and although PA will always have a large piece of heart Florida is “home” for us.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising and going to the beach. I also love to tackle a good DIY home project when I can!
I am the owner of MaddyLus, Upcycled Furniture and Home Decor. This is a completely new venture for me and my first time running a business. MaddyLu’s opened in June of 2022.
I am a self taught furniture painter and I have always had a love for home interiors and decorating. At MaddyLu’s, I offer custom furniture painting services, DIY supplies and learn to paint workshops. This is all in addition to the retail part of the shop. We carry a variety of unique furniture, home decor and gift items for sale.
A good referral for me is anyone who is looking to update an existing piece of furniture they own or anyone looking to learn the process to tackle the job on their own.
